We´re Building a Community!

Living Hope International is establishing the first Living Hope Community.  This campus-style facility is the permanent home for the children of Esperanza Viva Youth Home in Puebla, Mexico. The Living Hope Community will provide complete care for all the needs of hundreds of abandoned children.

The Community will be a sanctuary and development facility for children and youth, who have, at young ages, already experienced and suffered all types of loss, abuse, and mistreatment. They will receive ministry and guidance that will provide them with the strength to rise above their circumstances, living in a loving environment and maturing into well-rounded adults and who develop their full potential.

The Living Hope Community will include boys’ and girls’ dormitories, Integral Education Center K-12 school, kitchen and dining hall, staff housing, recreational areas, gardens, housing and classrooms for the La Viña Ministry Training Center, and eventually Nations Church.  The construction for the Living Hope Community will be completed in several phases, with the most important structures built first to accommodate the most basic needs of the children we are rescuing.

The first phase of construction allowed us to move the activities most directly related to the children to our land as quickly as possible, eliminating the expense of rent on all the orphanage buildings in Puebla.  While these current structures are not sufficient to meet all the needs of the various organizations which work with the children, each of the buildings will be adapted for multiple uses until all phases are completed.

When the construction is completed, all the affiliated organizations will work more effectively and efficiently to provide a better life for abandoned children.
