I feel like I’ve known these children my whole life. Such a blessing they have been to our team. It warms my heart to see so many smiling happy faces. Our work projects have been challenging yet fun. Can't wait to see what more God has in store for us the rest of the week. ~ CharlesShort-Term Mission Trips!Do you want to go beyond the normal Christian lifestyle?Visit us in Puebla, Mexico!CLICK HERE TO VIEW OUR AVAILABILITY CALENDARLHI Short-Term Mission trips include all on-site administration and scheduling, comfortable guest housing, meals and local transportation.Visit our blog to see what other Short-term trip members are saying.
It would seem that human nature drives us to want to “let up,” “give up,” or just “give in” to the difficulties we face at different seasons in our lives. Often after a long struggle, but ironically just before the victory, we want to give up the battle. Sometimes when we have won a battle we may feel that we have earned a break, and while some rest is good, it’s all too easy for our focus to shift if we linger too long in that rest. Paul said, “I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.” Our time here is so short, so let’s make the most of it! Don’t let up, give up, or give in; we’ll enjoy the victories all the more. – Jerry McNally
